After an explosive end to Season 5 leaving their studio destroyed, Minecraft trivia gameshow The Quiz LIVE is set to return this month with a brand new studio location.

The studio’s destruction concluded a story arc that started back in Season 5’s very first episode. Following technical difficulties, the show’s usual presenter, TheHappywheels1, a.k.a. Happy, was “fired” from the show, being replaced by WadeBox as the show’s presenter for Episode 2. At the end of the episode, Wade was shown falling down a mysterious hole outside the studio, witnessed by an unseen presence, leading to Happy taking over the show again as of Episode 3.
The story arc concluded at the end of the final episode of the season, in which Wade returned, accusing Happy of having been behind his misfortune and blowing up the studio as revenge.

Now, the studio has been rebuilt in a new location. “Ever since Season 1, we’ve picked studio locations far away from civilisation,” Happy tells us. “Our original plan for Season 6 was to stay put, however the explosion at the end of Season 5 Episode 11 put a change to that. With the studio building being beyond repair, we knew we had to move. This time, we wanted to take a new approach to our location. In the end, I think we found the perfect spot.”
“With the move to the city, I’m looking forward to players having more to explore when they visit the studio,” Happy continues. “Remember, we were on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere before. Not very… exciting. Besides the studio building, I think my favourite feature of the new city would have to be the underground train station. It’s nice to finally be able to get to and from the studio building without having to walk all the way!”

Alongside the new studio location, there has also been a minor visual change to opening round 20 Question Trivia. “The gameplay is the same, though the studio should look a little more interesting rather than just three player podiums in a dark room,” Happy says.
With these changes in place, Season 6 will begin on Saturday 28th February at 5pm GMT / 12pm EST. Applications for this first episode are currently open here, with the deadline being on the 14th of February.
“I said it at the end of Season 5, but thank you to everyone who continues to watch, submit questions, and apply for The Quiz LIVE,” Happy says. “They’re the reason this show is able to continue. There’s still a lot of work to do and I can’t wait for everyone to see it all come together in Episode 1!”
