With TwitchCon Rotterdam around two months away, the schedule of events and activities has been announced – and there may be some names you recognise!
Rats SMP returns to TwitchCon for another year
POWCreations will be hosting a panel featuring the content creators of the Rats SMP. The panel features POW co-owners OwengeJuiceTV and apokuna, as well as fellow SMP players Smajor, soupforeloise, Roscumber, InTheLittleWood, and Michela.

This will be the fourth TwitchCon panel led by POWCreations – their most recent being Crafting a Minecraft Story 101 (San Diego 2024). Before that, Rats SMP: A Minecraft Tail (Paris 2023) ended with the reveal of Pirates SMP, while last year’s panel Pirates SMP: A Voyage to the Past! (Rotterdam 2024) ended with the reveal of Rats: In Paris. While of course nothing is confirmed, this year’s panel ending with the reveal of a new project is not exactly far-fetched.
The “Rats SMP 2 – A tail of Minecraft Adventures” panel will take place Saturday 31st May at 11:30am CEST in the NomNom Theatre.
Learn to manage a Minecraft organisation in new panel
Last year you may remember seeing us at Journeying Into The Minecraft Event Sphere (Rotterdam 2024) – and now we’re back for Round 2!
This time the panel is being led by InsaneOrbitzz, the owner of InsideMC, a podcast / studio branded around Minecraft. The topic of discussion is managing an organisation within Minecraft – covering making and running the organisation, as well as the positives and obstacles it brings, ending with a Q&A.
“After managing and organising InsideMC for so long, and learning how it feels to do it in this aspect, I thought it’d be a really cool chance to hear what other people had to say about the organisations they run,” Orbitzz tells us. “We have five different people, all somewhat similar, but still so different in their projects and how things are run.”
Joining Orbitzz on the panel are Apokuna (co-owner of POWCreations, a studio running lore-driven SMPs and mini-events), Wolfeei (player manager and organiser of minigame tournament Block Wars), Captain_AJX (owner of Heart of a Hero, a charity campaign raising money to fight cancer) and Wraithzeon (director of WraithStation and Editor-in-Chief for Sphere News).

“I’m extremely excited to just be on the stage. There’s so many things that I just can’t process at the moment, but I’m super excited to be running my own panel,” Orbitzz says. “There’s a screenshot from 2023 of someone asking ‘InsideMC panel when’ to which I responded ‘give me two years’ so it’s very cool to actually see it through. My co-panellists are extremely cool, and I can’t wait to hopefully see so many familiar names and/or faces in the crowd.”
The “Managing An Organization Inside Minecraft” panel will take place Saturday 31st May at 2:30pm CEST in the GivePLZ Theatre.
Watch LGBTQ+ Minecrafters craft the way
“Ever wanted to broaden your horizons and see how far the Minecraft community truly can reach?” the TwitchCon website reads. “Well now you can! Join some of the most loved Minecraft creators who have two things in common… Loving Minecraft, and being apart of the LGBTQ+ community!”
On the panel are aimsey, Badlinu, guqqie, Michela and Shubble.
“Crafting the Way!: An LGBTQ+ Panel for Minecrafters” will take place Sunday 1st June at 12:00pm CEST in the Glitch Theatre.
Watch Minecraft Championship take the stage at Twitch Rivals
Get ready to cheer on your favourite creators, because the minigame tournament is back! Minecraft Championship, or MCC, is usually confined to the viewer’s screen, but now you’ll be able to watch it live in a stadium full of cheering fans.

“MCC is back with a fresh new twist,” the TwitchCon website reads. “This time the map and the Twitch Rivals Arena has been conquered by the Skeleton King who wants to steal all of the colour from the universe. We need your help to battle with your favourite Minecraft creators to take on the Skeleton army and restore colour back to the world.”
Unlike the online gaming version of the event, the LAN version features official live casters and presenters to guide you through what you’re watching. The website lists aimsey, JLTomy, LinkTijger, Smajor, TheOrionSound and Tubbo as the “session participants” – could this be the team of presenters?
Last year’s EU event also included a remix of the minigame Big Sales At Build Mart, known as Build Mart IRL, in which teams raced to create their builds by moving around the stage and carrying blocks on bikes. Could we perhaps see another IRL remix this year – and if so, what will it be?
“MC Championship LIVE” will take place Sunday 1st June at 2:30pm CEST in the Twitch Rivals Arena.
Meet & Greets
Meet & Greets with streamers have not yet been announced, but as with previous years there will likely be plenty of Minecraft (or Minecraft-adjacent) creators doing official meet & greets!
There are also likely to be a number of unofficial streamer community meetups throughout the convention. Stay tuned to the social and community platforms of your favourite creators to find out about these.
The times, dates, and rooms of each of these events is not set in stone, so stay tuned to the official events page and TwitchCon app for updates.
