There’s lots of Minecraft events and projects around to get involved with – here’s this week’s opportunities!
Find an event or server to play…
Minigame tournament Cube Championships (previously known as Retro Rumble before their hiatus) is looking for players for their roster! Applicants can be content creators of any size. The application form can be found here.

Challenger Trials is another minigame tournament currently recruiting for its player roster. Applications close Saturday 31st May, with the form being available here.
Or if you’re keen to play something other than a minigame tournament, applications are open for the second episode of Jeocrafty. This Minecraft gameshow by TheEvents580 is, as you may have guessed from the title, inspired by American TV quiz show Jeopardy. The show will take place on Saturday 14th June at 5pm BST / 12pm EDT and you can apply here.
Applications are open for the Totally Normal SMP – a modded, lore-based horror SMP featuring over 100 mods. You can find out more about the server on their X. The application form can be found here and will close this Saturday (17th May). Applicants must be aged 16+, and due to the number of mods, the server is not recommended for PCs with lower processing power.
Signups are open for the next Crazy’s UHC, ran by Crazy66. The event will take place on Saturday 24th May at 7pm BST / 2pm EDT. The event will take place with teams of two, and will be the first Crazy’s UHC in v1.21.5. You can find out more or sign up in the Crazy’s UHC Discord.
or choose one to help out!
Minigame tournaments Cube Championships and Chamber Trials are both looking for playtesters! You can apply here for Cube Championships or here for Chamber Trials.
Upcoming YouTube series “Murder Hotel” is looking for scriptwriters. The series is a murder mystery in which guests are invited to Exclusive Grande Opening Party of the hotel, but after the death of their host they have to find out who the murderer is. If interested, you can DM @DeviDeception on X. While they are primarily looking for scriptwriters, they’re also open to anyone wanting to express interest in other areas.
Challenger Trials is on the lookout for photographers (to take screenshots during events for use on socials) and builders to join their staff team. You can apply for the photographer role here or the builder role here.
You can also find Sphere News on X, Bluesky and Discord.
Join us there to stay up to date with new articles and bonus opportunities throughout the week!
