The Quiz LIVE is soon to host its Christmas special to close off Season 5 of this Minecraft trivia gameshow.
November’s episode of the show, available on catchup here, saw LoveFromNyx, Rhilistic and Bluekwyrm battling it out in various rounds of Minecraft trivia.
“I can’t believe we’re going into the Christmas period already, and approaching the end of Season 5 for The Quiz LIVE,” gameshow organiser and presenter TheHappywheels1 tells us. “It’s been a great season and I want to thank everyone who has taken part. The show literally would not run without all of you.”
Each episode of The Quiz LIVE opens with buzzer trivia game “20 Question Trivia”, followed by one to three middle rounds. The specific round/s for the Christmas special won’t be announced publicly before the show, but could include pattern replication race “Block Shop”, giant board game “Questions & Ladders”, strategic question-passing game “Question Cubes”, or a one-off “Mystery Game”.
The two players with the highest scores then move forward to the finale round, featuring quiz questions submitted by audience members. The two round options for the finale are either buzzer game “Trivia Towers”, or the explosive “TNTrivia”.
The Christmas episode will take place on Saturday 13th December at 5pm GMT / 12pm EST, and you can apply to take part here. Applications will close on Wednesday 3rd December at 6pm GMT.
December’s episode will be the final one of Season 5, with Season 6 set to start in February 2026. “Please do keep applying once applications open for Season 6 next year,” TheHappywheels1 says. “There aren’t any major changes or additions to announce for Season 6 yet, but I’m sure as time goes on, there will be things to look forward to. Stay tuned!”
