Here’s the latest opportunities we’ve found to get involved in various Minecraft events and projects!

The Warrior Games: Aqua-pocalypse is a two-week long modded event, running from 23rd July to 6th August, in which players must fight to survive on an island full of zombies and enemy players. This will raise money for Thirst Project, a student activism movement who build freshwater wells in developing nations and impoverished communities to provide people with safe, clean water. You can watch the announcement video here or apply through this form.
Um, Actually… is a new Minecraft gameshow ran by Toxxable and based on the Dropout show of the same name. The premise is that the three contestants must provide corrections to incorrect statements about various areas within Minecraft. Sign-ups are open indefinitely through this form.
The Bridge MCSR Playoffs is a speedrunning tournament ran by The Bridge, a Discord server that aims to connect the Minecraft event community and speedrunning community. There will be three skill brackets: Gold, Emerald, and Diamond, with the competition taking place through use of the MCSR Ranked mod. Qualifiers will take place on 26th-27th July, with the tournament itself running between the 2nd and 17th August, with different dates for different skill brackets. More details can be found on the sign-up form. Sign-ups close on 20th July.
MCEventures: Siege is looking for players! The event will take place on Sunday 3rd August at 8pm BST / 3pm EDT, with fifty creators defending and attacking castles across three different maps. This will raise money for PoTS UK, a charity supporting those with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome. You can register your interest under this post on X.
Crazy’s UHC #5 also has sign-ups open – this is a PvP deathmatch in which players can only heal by using golden apples or regen potions. It will take place on Saturday 19th July at 7pm BST / 2pm EDT, and feature teams of three players. To sign-up, put your Minecraft IGN in the allocated channel in the Crazy’s UHC Discord.
BloodPact SMP is an SMP that launched in late June, in which six teams of creators share health bars. An interest check form is available here.
24HR SMP has opened applications for its sixth season. In this 24-hour long SMP, there are two victory conditions: being the last player standing in the final battle at the end of 24 hours, or achieving the most points by completing advancements. Applications are open here and will close on 26th July.
