There’s no return yet in sight for minigame tournament Pandora’s Box, as they shared an update this week regarding their hiatus.
The Minecraft event has been on hiatus since Pandora’s Box Genesis 15 in early January, although they also ran viewer event Pandora’s Box Unsealed 2 in April.

“We understand that we promised to return this year, and many of you have been reasonably upset at the lack of event news since Unsealed 2,” the staff team wrote in a new announcement. “Unfortunately, due to internal factors, the development of the event was halted and progress towards PB16 was significantly impacted.”
That said, this doesn’t appear to be the end of Pandora’s Box. The announcement goes on to reinforce the team’s plan to continue running the event, albeit with no time frame specified.
There may be more events like Unsealed 2 coming before the tournament returns in full. “We’re not opposed to hosting smaller, special events to keep the hype going,” the announcement continues. “There may not be many, but keep an eye out for that.”
The Pandora’s Box team are also interested in expanding their production team to help make their return a reality. “Builders and developers who would love to make Pandora’s Box a reality again are welcome to private message us on Twitter,” the announcement reads. To note, these are volunteer positions. If interested, you can find and message the event via @PandorasBoxMC on X.
