MCC Rising is a version of Noxcrew’s Minecraft Championship that any Minecraft creator can apply for, regardless of size or being on the main roster. This is Rising’s third year, and we reached out to all of the players taking part to find out more about them, and get some recommendations for cool projects to check out!

HAVE YOU PLAYED IN OTHER MINECRAFT EVENTS BEFORE, AND IF SO WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE?
rubyco_ – Red Rabbits:
I only really played in one more event and one event SMP! It was Ikea Hide & Seek and the TwitchCon SMP – both were so much fun! I am fairly new to the Minecraft content creator side of things seeing as I only really properly joined in October. I hope to be able to join more in the future because it is so much fun!
AbolishRegret – Yellow Yaks:
I’ve played in only a few Minecraft events, but one of my favourites was a creator event hosted by POW Creations playing their mini game Rat Hunt. It’s where you are a little rat running and hiding around in this massive house, being chased by seekers and cats – it’s very chaotic and really fun!
Scuffed_Sushi – Lime Llamas:
If I’m being completely honest, my two favourites have been EVNT’s Pride Games and WraithStation’s trivia event, Omnia!
Gigithepuppy – Blue Bats:
I have played in a few events on Bedrock – by far my favourite two being MCBC, which is the biggest event right now on Bedrock, as well at WMCT, it being the most unique. As for SMPs, I played on a roleplay-based server that had custom items and lore called Andosa which was ran by Slader.
Plushy33 – Blue Bats:
The only experience I’ve ever had in events are on all Bedrock Edition, though I’d love to play more Java ones, or even have some Java creators play in Bedrock ones! I’d love to shout out MCBC (Minecraft Bedrock Championships) which is the biggest creator event on Bedrock Edition. My favourite event I’ve probably played in was MCBC Festive 22. It was my first time playing an MCBC, and it was so magical. I had always wanted to be in the event, and had been waiting for over a year at that point. Finally playing it with my two friends and getting first overall as all newcomers was super fun! (sadly, we didn’t win the finale)
LynxyLiam – Cyan Coyotes:
I took part in Biome Battle and it was an amazing experience – it was a good mix of PvP and movement games, which meant I had some good times to shine and kind of help my team where I could!
WithMayX – Cyan Coyotes:
I don’t have that much experience in Minecraft events, but I recently played in the first rendition of Biome Battle which I really enjoyed!
Paeadams – Cyan Coyotes:
The only events I have ever participated in were Disney Hide & Seek (by EVNT), and Biome Battle! I really enjoyed both and hold them really close to me.
vintage_applesauce – Red Rabbits:
I haven’t played in really any event before MCC Rising. I have been on many SMPs though, including (but not limited to): Skyblock Kingdoms and TwitchSMP.
pearcups – Green Geckos:
I haven’t really been in any events like this, so it’s been such an exciting thing to be a part of. I feel so lucky! I have been in past SMPs that RoseThunder_ has made, but those were mostly filled with friends I already knew. MCCR is the first time I’m really meeting new people online in a long time, and my very first time playing in a competition.
queen_ov_drama – Purple Pandas:
I have played in a lot of SMPs! (Afterwork SMP, HardcoreHearts SMP and SeeMore SMP to name a few!). I really enjoy the interactivity of working with others. The one competitive event I have played in before was called City of Nations (Space Edition), it was one of the best experiences of my life and I hope to have the chance to compete with a team there again.
HiImCC – Orange Ocelots:
I used to do events quite often in my early YouTube days. I did a lot of UHCs and the like. I haven’t done one in years though, and I’m super rusty.
RoseThunder_ – Green Geckos:
I have played in two Pride Games by EVNT before, but that’s it! Most recently it was the Pride Rush event!
TibbyCaps – Aqua Axolotls:
This is my first time playing in a Minecraft tournament! Before this, I’ve played a lot on the Artimator SMP, an SMP that me and all of my fellow teammates play on.
Avid_Mc – Red Rabbits:
I’ve never played in a Minecraft event before! I’m hoping by being in MCCR I’ll have the chance to play more in the future. I’ll use this chance to plug one of my favourite videos from Avid Adventures.
