Here are some opportunities we’ve spotted over the last week, to get involved in various Minecraft events and projects!
Find an event or server to play…
Blue Lemon Studio has cast applications open for The Death Trial, which is a spin-off SMP to their previous project, The Pathfinders SMP – which studio founder IcyIsTired describes as “an original story inspired by The Maze Runner book, that takes place over the course of three seasons and showcases the cast’s hard fought battle for survival, from monsters in their prison, to each other.” The Death Trial will take place canonically at around the same time as the original season. Applications are open to content creators aged 18+, with the application form available here. Applications will close on 8th March.

Applications are open for Hypixel Havoc #4, an event by NitroTiger. This is an event playing six Hypixel games: Bedwars, Skywars, Build Battle, TNT Run, Mini Walls and Blitz SG. The event date and time are currently undecided, but you can choose your availability from several options (between 9th and 23rd March) as part of the application form. Applications close on 26th Feb at 6pm GMT.
Waffle Warriors, a minigame event in development, has just opened roster applications. The organisers are hoping to organise public mini events next month (the public Discord can be found here), and once development is finished, the core event is planned to be held weekly. You can apply for the roster here.
There is a short minigame event called Minigames Masters today (21st Feb at 7pm GMT / 2pm EST) on the Minearchy public Minecraft server. You can find out more or register interest in the Minearchy Discord.
The Wheel is looking for players for their 100 Player Pirate Experiment. In this event, one hundred players will be stranded on an island where they must try to find a way to escape. On the second day, the Purge will begin. The event will take place on March 1st and 2nd, from 6-10pm GMT on each day. Players are required to play both sessions if still alive by the end of the first. Please note that this event is NOT streamable or recordable for your own channel. You can watch the trailer below, and if interested you can find out more or apply in the Wheel Simulations Discord.

Cube Championships (formerly known as Retro Rumble) are currently looking for builders to join their team. If interested you can apply through the form linked in their Discord.
Event-in-development The SillieVille Scramble, owned by CaVe and iljone, is recruiting volunteers across multiple roles: coding, building, music, art, resource packs, modelling, and social media. The event is a minigame tournament focused on making party-styled games that players of any PvP / movement skill can enjoy and do well in. You can apply for the staff team here.
Central Game Nights is looking for a volunteer Player Manager to help out with the tournament’s roster and recruitment. CGN plans to shift their focus in the future from mainly MCC Island tournaments into running a more hybrid event, including custom Minecraft games, collaborations with other events, as well as some non-Minecraft events, in addition to MCCI tourneys. You can find out more about the player manager role or apply here.
Noxcrew is looking for a Project Manager to join the MCC Island team. This is a full-time, remote, paid job, and asks for significant prior experience in project management. You can find out more about the position and apply here.
