Dark Deception has announced that it’s coming to Minecraft some time in 2025.
Dark Deception is a first-person Pacman-esque horror game that combines fast-paced arcade action with horror. Players find themselves in a maze where they must collect all the shards in order to escape, whilst evading the monsters – lest they get jumpscared.
The game was developed and published by indie studio Glowstick Entertainment, and is available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The first chapter is free to play, but following chapters featuring different monsters and maps (each with their own unique mechanics) are available as paid DLC.
The game has been adapted for Minecraft by fans a number of times already (for example this map by Ink Demon414 on PlanetMinecraft) – however this time it looks like the adaptation will be an official one. It seems likely that it will appear as a paid addon in the Minecraft Marketplace for Bedrock Edition.
The news came from the official Dark Deception account on X, announced alongside additional versions of Dark Deception for both Roblox and Fortnite.
Official versions of Dark Deception are coming to @Roblox, @Minecraft, and @FortniteGame in 2025!
