Unity Multiplayer – a multilingual, modded factions Minecraft server for content creators – has announced the launch date for its highly anticipated Season 3. The season, which starts on 29th March 2025, promises a fresh experience for its community, with the server having fostered an international player base and community since its original inception in July 2023.

The server features a live translation mod called UnityTranslate. Inspired by the QSMP and coded by BluSpring, the mod allows its players to converse in real time despite language barriers, and for their viewers to follow along. Whilst English and Spanish have been the most common languages spoken on Unity in previous seasons, there is now support for translations of languages including Portuguese, Dutch, German, French, Polish, Swedish, Chinese, and Japanese.
“Back in 2023, I reached out to a friend who was already on a server I owned about possibly starting an SMP together,” server owner TheoClouds tells us. “They were bilingual, and since a big part of our mutual friend group spoke both English and Spanish, it just kinda made sense to have a big focus on the bilingual aspect of the server. From there, it naturally grew into a space with so many incredible and unique languages represented.”
Under Theo’s leadership, with project management support from Adri4ns_ and CypherAG, Season 3 is set to be Unity’s most ambitious season yet. It will transport players to the Sundial Islands – a meticulously crafted map composed of three distinct major islands around a central hub. From the rugged and mountainous island of Emberhold, to the serene cherry forest island of Suncrest, and the lush tropical jungle island of Fernfall, each island provides a unique landscape and resources with which its faction can build a land to call home. The Sundial Islands is a larger map than in the two previous seasons, offering more room for exploration.

Season 3 of Unity Multiplayer is not just a change of scenery, because it also overhauls the server’s gameplay. “Mods have always been a vital part of Unity, and this season, we’re going so much further with our custom features,” Theo says. “One of the biggest is our custom economy, which has been a major focus for us. I’ve been doing a lot of the planning and brainstorming, while BluSpring is leading development and Alychemist is bringing her incredible talent to the textures. With Season 3, we’ve also updated from Fabric 1.20.1 to 1.21.1, opening the door to even more vanilla features, along with some newer mods like Ars Elixirum, Bountiful Fares, and more.”
The launch of Season 3 marks a new chapter in the server’s journey, promising an unforgettable adventure for players worldwide. “Personally, I’m beyond excited to showcase everything we’ve been working on as a studio – the map, the economy, and the overarching storyline,” Theo says. “With Season 3 being our final season, we have some amazing opportunities to wrap up storylines that have been running for well over a year, which I’m sure will lead to some angsty streams – looking at you, Galaxushii and maddsxp. I’m also really looking forward to introducing new faces to Unity. We’ve already announced a few, but who knows? More creators might be joining sooner than expected.”
You can watch the server launch on Saturday 29th March, at 9pm BST / 5pm EDT.
