It’s not long now until TwitchCon EU kicks off in Rotterdam. We asked convention-goers what they’re most excited for – and here’s what they said!
Getting the chance to meet up with friends was the most common answer. “I’m super excited to see everyone at the con, just because it’s really the only place I get to see all my friends from across the globe come together,” says Emily CupcakeGaming882. “It’s just such a blast seeing friends!”
“This con is an incredible way to find new and old faces of the community,” says CosmicMess. “Meeting people in real life truly changes the way you bond.”

“Spending time with friends and buying milkshakes at Markthal!” PulseOranges tells us, referring to Rotterdam’s horseshoe-shaped market hall.
“I’m super looking forward to hopefully getting to meet some of the creators that have inspired me to become a streamer,” says ace0fclovers, “and experiencing MCC live in person as well!” MCC – or MC Championship – will be taking place in the Twitch Rivals arena on Sunday.
Many convention-goers will be having some very busy days during their trips. “Meeting all the people… and MCC,” says black_londons_antari, “though I could use an extra day to just explore the con area and all the booths. My schedule is packed!”
For other people, the panels are the highlight of the TwitchCon experience – especially, of course, for the people up on stage for them. “I think my answer goes without saying,” teases InsideMC, who will be hosting the “Managing An Organisation Inside Minecraft” panel during the convention.
“So many things!” says TinyCaity. “Meeting people, watching cool panels… and Artist Alley can take all my money!” She shares a picture of some crocheted bees she’ll be giving away to friends at TwitchCon – there are 69 in total and she’s spent well over 100 hours on the endeavour. “Also to get rid of all of these bees.”

Caity isn’t the only one excited to share giveaway items with people they meet at the convention. “To spread the good word,” says CyberChamp_. “That word is stickers!”
Stickers are a common collectible at the convention, with them frequently cropping up as both free giveaway items and at Artist Alley. “Honestly just wanted to pay 100+ for some stickers,” says Tramonik.
To all the TwitchCon-goers – whatever you’re most excited for, from events to exploring the con to meeting friends new and old – we hope you have a wonderful time and make lots of good memories!
