Find an event or server to play…
Block Wars Brawl is a new, more competitive spin-off of minigame tournament Block Wars. One of the teams will be open to video applications, giving an exclusive opportunity for community members to play. To apply, you’ll need to form a team of five players and make a video together that “showcases why you’d be a fun POV to watch!” All team members must appear and have a speaking role in the video – otherwise, the video format is flexible. Applications are open here and will close on Wednesday 7th May at 5am BST (midnight EDT). Wolfeei has made a video explaining more about the event and how to apply here.

The next Tipsy Tourney is in collaboration with ShineMC to raise money for Nerve Tumours UK. This MCCI tournament will take place on Saturday 17th May at 10:30pm BST / 5:30pm EDT. Applicants must be aged 18+ as people will be drinking alcohol – however drinking is not required. You can sign up here. Applications close on Monday (5th May).
Applications are open for the next episode of The Quiz LIVE. This is a studio gameshow in which three contestants compete in Minecraft trivia minigames. The show will take place on Saturday 24th May at 5pm BST/ 12pm EDT and you can apply here. Applications close next Saturday (10th May).
The Bakery is running a building competition with the theme “Reflection”. The competition will run for 3 weeks, from 5th – 26th May, and you can take part as a solo or duo. Everything must be built by hand, from scratch (no external tools) on the Bakery comp server. There is a total prize pool of $450 USD. You can find out more in the Bakery Discord.
This isn’t the only building competition going on, as The Builder’s Gauntlet is also taking place. This one lasts 2 weeks and started on 1st May. The contest is open to both solos and groups. Whilst there is no theme, your build must include at least one of the new blocks included in a custom mod provided for the competition. You can build anywhere – submissions are done through screenshots and schematics – and use whatever external tools you like. You can find out more in the AutoCraft SMP Discord.
